Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) applies to everyone. Copyright owners or their agents can file a law suit against the owner of record for alleged infringement violations. As an IT professional, it is important for you to know who is using your department’s IP addresses (see SAP 29.01.99.M1.03, Account Management).
